Why do you want a career in a STEM area/concentration? What are your employment goals after graduation? Who in your life has been your biggest influence and why? Describe how you have demonstrated that you are of good moral character. Copy of resume required for upload Valid for students in Maryland, Georgia, and Texas *Scholarship is a one-time offer of $1,500 applied to the fall semester of the recipients upcoming freshman year. The scholarship funds will be sent directly to the bursars office (or equivalent financial office). Scholarship Process: The IntelliGenesis Women Supporting Women STEM Scholarship committee will select scholarship recipients annually after review of application materials. Academic references, academic standing, commitment to the academic program, and other specified criteria will be considered. Parameters for selection include commitment to careers in technology professions, good moral character, full-time student, and financial need. Awards will be made to high-school seniors. Applicants enrolled full-time in baccalaureate programs in the next Fall term are the primary candidates for the awards. Scholarships will be awarded only for undergraduate study. A completed application form with all supporting documentation must be submitted by April 15th, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted. Recipients will be notified by email no later than May 15th, 2025. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and attend college in the U.S. during the duration of the scholarship year. Applicants must be in good standing and have a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative overall grade point average at their high school. Applicants must submit a transcript with their application that indicates cumulative grade point average. Interviews may be required of scholarship finalists. Scholarship recipient selection(s) will be made without regard to race, age, gender, religion, political beliefs, employment status, or any other factor, which could constitute unfair or illegal discrimination. The Scholarship will go directly to the college where the student is accepted. The Scholarship committee, based upon individual circumstances, can make exceptions to this policy.
